Planning

A committee decision was made to give Europe (Italy, France, a little of Spain, London) a going over later in the year.

Some sacrifices had to be made - Dave has given up 3 Warriors home games!

Several months have been spent planning flights, cities to visit, things to see, places to stay.         

The flights have been booked, a Eurolease vehicle for pick up in Rome ordered and the accommodation arranged.

We fly Emirates which has 2 advantages:

• 30kg baggage each - you have no idea what Sherry can get into a 30kg bag!
• we stopover in Dubai for a couple of days each way which will allow us to met up with an ex colleague Dave Bradley who resides in Dubai

On the way up he will be single and when we stopover on our way home 7 weeks later he will have tied the knot to his new lady!

All that needs to happen now is for time to pass quickly so that the departure date [18th July] arrives - it seems so far away!

At our age one shouldn't get excited about these things so we wont!

We hope the NZD retains its value until all is paid for!
